Fiona

We have been blessed throughout our marriage to know a wonderful photographer. When she found out that we were leaving last week for Philly, she squeezed us into her schedule for pictures of Fiona. She shared a few of them with us today, and they brightened our spirits tonight as we deliberate what to do. We share a few of them with you here, with her permission.

Children of the heav’nly Father
Safely in His bosom gather;
Nestling bird nor star in Heaven
Such a refuge e’er was given.

God His own doth tend and nourish;
In His holy courts they flourish;
From all evil things He spares them;
In His mighty arms He bears them.

Neither life nor death shall ever
From the Lord His children sever;
Unto them His grace He showeth,
And their sorrows all He knoweth.

Though He giveth or He taketh,
God His children ne’er forsaketh;
His the loving purpose solely
To preserve them pure and holy.

Lo, their very hairs He numbers,
And no daily care encumbers
Them that share His ev’ry blessing
And His help in woes distressing.

Praise the Lord in joyful numbers:
Your Protector never slumbers.
At the will of your Defender
Ev’ry foeman must surrender.

Thank you SO much for all the updated photos...from the photo of your room, to the photo of "Ronnie", to the gorgeous ones of Fiona. What a blessing to be able to see the photos while you are apart. A picture really can say a thousand words!

Well, I know that the Lord has been listening to your cries for discernment. May you be able to hear His guidance during this time of unsurities (is that even a word? :-)

I will miss seeing you in church, but I know that you are in the right place at the right time, doing just what the Lord wants you to do.

Take care of each other. The Lord will take care of you both! In Christs love,
Melody

Matt and Susan,
We trust that you had wonderful worship with brothers and sisters across the country.
We will be praying for you in the next day as you make decisions for Whitney. We pray that once the decision has been made you have an overwhelming peace that can only be from our Heavenly Father. We love you both.

Thank you for your work on this blog and keeping us up to date!

We are praying you have clear insite to make the decisions you are faced with - that God would make clear to you the path He wants you to take and that His will, will be done to His honor and glory.
God give you the strength and wisdom to face the challenges given you.

It sounds like tomorrow is an important day as you make choices regarding plans and treatment. I hope you can rest in God's unfolding grace. Sometimes we face things that just seem too big - and then He takes our hands in His. I hope these words come to life for you: Is. 28:29,"All this also comes from the Lord Almighty, wonderful in counsel and magnificent in wisdom." Praying. Love, Sue Rumph

Today is here. I did pray each and every time I woke up last night that you were both SLEEPING peacefully to grab hold of this day with confidence and the guidance given to you from our Heavenly Father. I will continue to pray all day for you both. Love to you
