CHOP--Day 1

We're at CHOP now. Susan's talking to a genetic counselor. Our first stop of the day went long--Whitney started dancing when they put Susan in the MRI machine. I think she's got her mom's spirit. As soon as we are done with the social worker, we'll go on for an echocardiogram.

Our friends Steve and Carrie Wolters are coming to Philly to go to dinner with us tonight. We just saw them in August--check out the cute picture of Fiona from their blog.

Yeah. The Lord is continuing to answer prayers. You arrvied safely and uneventful. You have a good place to stay. You have time to enjoy friends while in Philly. OK I could go on, but I am not going to. I did have to talk to Maria and asked her how Fiona was...very cute...she said...good, there is only ONE problem with her...SHE IS A PERFECT CHILD!! Hmm WAY TO GO!! I know they are THROUGHLY enjoying the time with her. (You might have to pry her away from the house when you do pick her up) :-) This also another yet answer to prayers. I will keep lifting you up to our Father. I keep waking up the last two nights EVERY single hour after midnight and the first night I was a bit irritated, but now I realized it is time that I spend giving HIM prayer requests that are needed to be asked even in the night, so you are getting lots of prayers sent to Him. I know He is answering so many. Have a wonderful day together enjoying each other and with friends tonight. It will be great for you to hopefully (and praying) that you will be able to "kick back" and maybe even be able to "forget" some concerns for a bit. Love to you both.

Just want you to know you are in our thoughts and prayers. I have a young mom in my BSF class that has a 1 year old daughter that has spina bifida. Every so often she tells us of exciting progress her daughter is making. Praying for you and the decisions you will be making. Marv & Donna Helder

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR SUSAN, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU! May the Lord shower blessings upon you today as He did 30 years ago to your family on your birth! Oh what a joy you are to so many. I will be thanking the Lord for creating you over 30 years ago in your mothers womb. Blessings to you. "Be still and know that I am God." Even when we are doing "nothing" at all, God is doing. Praying you feel Gods loving presence surrounding you.

Happy Birthday Susan!and congratulations on your wife's day, Matt. I am subbing and just found a fitting verse on the back of my bookmark. "Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen" Ephesians 3 : 20-21.
Our HS English teacher's daughter delivered twins at 25 weeks. You may be interested in checking them out at babababies, They are Ian and Gabriel born on Sept. 27. Very interesting to compare them with where our Whitney is at this time. These boys are at DeVos. Ian is the one with problems and they were told it was very iffy, but both boys are off the ventilators and their Grandma says we know God is taking care of them. They go to the Mennonite Church in Fairview.
Prayers are with you, Love Mom
